Hidaka Engineering Company (hereinafter referred to as "Hidaka") has established the following privacy policy regarding the appropriate protection and use of customers' corporate and personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law and will make every effort to prevent the leakage, misuse, falsification, etc. of such information in accordance with the policy.
1. Protection of Personal Information
Hidaka maintains internal regulations and takes reasonable security measures to protect personal information provided by our customers from loss, destruction, unauthorized external disclosure, tampering, and unauthorized access.
2. Provision of Personal Information
Hidaka will not disclose or provide your personal information to any third party without your consent. However, this shall not apply in either of the following cases.
- You have given prior consent to the disclosure of your personal information.
- Disclosure is required by law.
3. Handling of Personal Information (Disclosure, Inquiry, Correction, Deletion, etc.)
When Hidaka receives a request from you to disclose, inquire into, correct, or delete your personal information, or a complaint, consultation, or any other inquiries, we will, after confirming that the request was made by you, take the relevant action within a reasonable period.
4. Disclosure of Personal Information
Hidaka may disclose your personal information in the following cases.
- If Hidaka learns that you have committed an act that is detrimental to another customer or to Hidaka Seiki, we may notify the affected party, the police, or other relevant authorities of your personal information.
- Hidaka may disclose your registered information if requested to do so by a court, a prosecutor, the police, a bar association, a consumer affairs center, or similar authority with equivalent jurisdiction.
